Elijah Muhammad's Book is not recommended for stagnant Muslims, so says Minister Hakim, Phoenix.

It is true as one reviewer stated, "The book is well written and features useful advice. However, orthodox Muslims should beware that the teachings of the prolific Elijah Muhammad are not in tandem with the Prophet Mohammed (peace be upon him) and mainstream Islam." The main reason it is so is, because as it was with the appearance of Prophet Mohammed 1400 years ago, those who worshipped Moses' God and the God ascribed to Jesus, refused to accept what the Prophet of Arabia had introduced to them. Consistent with the same parallels of 1400 years ago, those who believe in the prophet and revealation given 1400 years ago likewise are rejecting an updated and abrogated revelation of the progressive truth of Allah (God).
As in the past with the three represetnations mentioned, each felt that after their respective encounter with the divine representative and their subsequent elevation into the realm of the civilized, they then felt that they wanted to monopolize the faith and force everyone after and before them to see them as the "final standard" and sole source by which and through whom one were to receive any further divine light. They would hope that one would believe that God is so narrow, that He either ran out of light or believed that the new recipients were so divine, no others were ever going to be worthy.
Whether they agree or not, as predicted by the very holy books they espouse and reserve all rights to "correct and final interpretation," the Divine Light has transversed itself. It is no longer rising in the East. It has risen in the West.
This book represents just a sampling of a Well that's been place in our midst, which not only represents vast wells of Divine Wisdom that cannot be monopolized on regardless to whom it's revealed, but the fulfillment of Supreme Wisdom has been revealed.

E. Muhammad's book is not recommended for orthodox Muslims

The book is well written and features useful advice. However, orthodox Muslims should beware that the teachings of the prolific Elijah Muhammad are not in tandem with the Prophet Mohammed (peace be upon him) and mainstream Islam.
Author biodata: Muhammad, Elijah (1897-1975), American black Muslim, who was leader of the Nation of Islam, or black Muslims, from 1934 until his death. He was born near Sandersville, Georgia. In 1923 he settled in Detroit, where, eight years later, he met and became a disciple of Walli Farad, founder of the Temple of Islam in Detroit. When Farad disappeared in 1934, Muhammad assumed leadership of the movement, which grew and prospered, especially in the 1960s, surviving a rift between Muhammad and his disciple Malcolm X.
