Useful but not worth full price

So far I'm about 50% of the way through the book. Most of the content is stuff that you probably already know if you have read or watched reviews online already, but there are a few things I didn't know and a few things I had known but like having them organized in a nice way. My biggest problem with this book is that, since the author is not a native English speaker, there are *many* spelling and grammar mistakes that any spelling and grammar checker should have caught. The writing is good enough to understand the points he is making, but the mistakes make it hard to skim the text, which is probably how you are going to want to read the book. If I were paying full price for this book, I would expect the author to pay for an editor to correct those mistakes.

It does qualify as a guide, but it is not Ultimate...

I thought this would be indeed as the title suggests, an Ultimate guide. In that regards it falls far short. Like aiming for the sun and hitting the moon. It does have a lot of worthwhile information, but like Alex herself, it is not all that grand. I would wager about at least one third of the Easter Eggs do not work. Would have liked useful information, and tips on getting Alexa to actually hear what is being spoken. Much of the guide was just the Author telling us how wonderful Alexa is. I would have liked to know why on many skills , after you enable then, Alexa rather cannot find them, or replies the skill is not enabled. Yet try and enable it again , and it tells you it is already enabled. Would love to have that version of the guide, more so than what is in this guide......

Not Happy with Amazon

I spent the money for the Alexa Tap. I'm satisfied with it but would like to use it for things other than playing Pandora.I ordered this book, Advertised for FREE. Found out it's NOT free, really. You can read it. Thought I would keep it for reference. NOPE, that costs '99. I don't mind paying the .99 but why tell me it's FREE? Seems Amazon is turning another corner of their development. If you don't pay the Membership fee, you just don't matter. I'm starting to find other sites and using Amazon for a price reference. Amazon is creating a competitive marketplace.Just not customer friendly like it used to be. Too bad for consumers.
