Do not use this medicine to relieve mild pain. This medicine should not be used to treat pain that you only have once in a while or "as needed". Fentanyl belongs to the group of medicines called narcotic analgesics (pain medicines). It acts on the central nervous system (CNS) to relieve pain. When a narcotic medicine is used for a long time, it may become habit-forming, causing mental or physical dependence. However, people who have continuing pain should not let the fear of dependence keep them from using narcotics to relieve the pain. Mental dependence (addiction) is not likely to occur when narcotics are used for this purpose. Physical dependence may lead to withdrawal side effects if treatment is stopped suddenly. However, severe withdrawal side effects can usually be prevented by gradually reducing the dose over a period of time before treatment is stopped completely. This medicine is available only with your doctor's prescription.

R. Hrair Dekmejian is a professor of political science and international business at the University of Southern California. His specialties include comparative political violence, Middle East/Islamic studies, political elites, multinational business and politics, U.S. foreign policy, the political economy of oil, and comparative ethnic politics. Professor Dekmejian has appeared as a commentator on world affairs on radio and television and is quoted in major newspapers and publications. A U.S. Army veteran, Dekmejian has served as a consultant to various agencies including the Department of State, the U.S. Information Agency, and the Department of Defense. He is the author of numerous books and articles including Islam in Revolution; Troubled Waters: The Geopolitics of the Caspian Region; and The Just Prince: A Manual of Leadership.

A More Objective Review

Considering the only other review for this book currently available, I felt compelled to write a review that is actually about the book, not the subject of the book. A Harvard professor deserves at least that. Perry Miller's classic introduction to the New England Puritans remains an essential text for anyone seeking to understand the complexities of a much maligned and often misunderstood religious movement. An understanding of the New England Puritans is absolutely essential to an understanding of American History and American society. Miller does not espouse the doctrines of Puritanism; he provides a concise and helpful historical background and then guides the reader through some representative samples of their writing. This is not a book designed to convert someone to Puritanism. A sidenote: The Puritans referred to in this book have not existed for centuries, so I assure you no reviewer of this book actually left the Puritanism described in this book.

Too short for the price but a great read.

Wonderful story but for the price I expected more than a pamphlet or short story. I would have given it 5 stars had it been .99 cents or longer. It was a great beginning and would have made an amazing tale had the author fleshed it out more. I am a huge fan of the 3013 series and thought I'd give this a try. As usual I loved Ms. Hayes characters but I will pay more attention to the page count from now on.

Charming & Surprisingly Tender for So Short a Tale

I LOVED this. Fast, easy, *fun* read with a dash of tenderness.

A fae-cat shapeshifter is captured to breed an heir. Her intended husband turns out to be nothing like his father, who arranged the "match" (not a spoiler — that's in the very beginning).

I loved reading how the couple earned each other's trust and respect among other things. Intimate scenes were well done and not gratuitous - just right. I actually found this believable, which is a stretch with short erotic books. Well done! I might re-read — I enjoyed it so much.

I've already read and reviewed the second, "Summoned and Stolen." All I can say is, "Please write a third!?"

It was just starting to get interesting when it finished! Beginning, end but no middle. No story development. Pity. I hope the series improves cause it's an interesting concept.
