I received an advanced copy of this book from Library Thing for my honest review. My husband and I make our own sauerkraut every year, but we have never tried to make any other fermented vegetables or fruits . This book gives great instructions on several other vegetables and fruits to ferment that I have never even thought of. Fermenting pickles was especially interesting as we do make pickles, and I didn't know you could make them by the fermenting process. The author does a good job of explaining fermentation and health benefits. If you are interested in a healthy digestive tract especially, this book would be invaluable. We are definitely going to try the recipes in here come canning season. I had never even heard of garlic snapes before! And what you could do with them, we have always just thrown them away! Great book, highly recommend
